About this position:
Western Slope Native American Resource Center is looking for a caring and thoughtful individual to help keep American Indian and Alaska Native families strong, whole, and healthy. We are adding a new Admin Assistant/Personal Assistant position to support the work of our dedicated Family Engagement team.
We are looking for an Admin Assistant/Personal Assistant to perform a variety of administrative tasks and support our company’s Executive Director.
Admin Assistant/Personal Assistant responsibilities include making travel and meeting arrangements, preparing reports, and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have above average oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment and learn new programs.
Ultimately, you will contribute to the efficiency of our business by providing personalized and timely support to Executive Director. If you have previous experience as an Administrative Assistant or Personal Assistant, we would like to meet you.
Responsibilities:

Act as the point of contact among executives, employees, clients, and other external partners

Schedule meetings and manage calendars

Take accurate and comprehensive notes at meetings

Assist with reports, presentations, and briefs

Help with daily time management for the Executive Director

Run errands as requested

Plan travel, including flights, accommodation, and ground transportation

Coordinate events and speaking engagements
-
Draft correspondence such as emails and letters
-
Screen and direct phone calls, emails and distribute correspondence

Other Duties as assigned
Requirements and skills:
-
Work experience as an Admin Assistant, Personal Assistant, or similar role
-
MS Office knowledge
-
Organizational and time management skills
-
Familiarity with office gadgets and applications (e.g., e-calendars and scanning machines)

Above Average verbal and written communications skills
-
Discretion and confidentiality
-
High School degree
-
First year will be probationary
Wage:
$42,000.00 to $50,000.00 a year depending on experience.
